I hold a Level 7 qualification in Counselling Supervision that is accredited by the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP).
Supervision offers a space in which you can explore your client work in a confidential and professional setting.
You may want to use supervision for a variety of reasons, and I pride myself in being adaptable to my supervisee’s needs.
Examples of supervisee needs I can support include:
- For experienced counsellors who want a safe space. Supervision doesn’t have to have a power imbalance, I can simply provide a safe space in which you can explore what needs to emerge.
- For trainees and newly qualified practitioners, I am happy to take on a slightly more teaching/mentoring role as I help you build your confidence as a professional. I can be led by you as you grow in confidence and I will always answer direct questions to the best of my ability.
- For supervisors – I am happy to have an exploratory discussion about supervision of supervision.
- For those embarking on private practice or growing a business, my coaching skills and background as a management consultant make me a good choice. I know how to set up a private practice compliantly and can support with that process.
- For those seeking BACP accreditation as a counsellor. I can support you as you build the skills needed for accreditation.
- For coaches – My supervision offers a psychological angle and may feel a little different from other coaching supervisors. For coaches, in addition to GROW, I utilise Hawkin’s CLEAR coaching model in conjunction with Hawkins and Shohet’s seven-eyed model of supervision. It depends on your niche and approach as to whether we’ll be a good fit for supervision – I’m always happy to have an introductory discussion.
- For spiritual practitioners, I am happy to consider if we are good fit. Your profession may not have a requirement for mandatory supervision, but it can be helpful. I can help you explore your client relationships and/or support with the practicalities of running a small business.

FAQs
What is your approach?
I am flexible but mainly draw on the seven-eyed model by Hawkin’s and Shohet, which has been shown to be effective across multiple modalities (Callifronas, 2022). I am very client-led, and to a large extent my focus is on creating a safe space for you, as supervisee, to bring and explore whatever it is that is in your mind.
That said, where I have appropriate knowledge I will offer it, and I take my ethical responsibilities seriously and so will be explicit in contracting and direct if I spot learning needs. I am not a ‘fluffy’ supervisor and do not shy from challenge.
For counsellors, I tend to draw on Page and Wosket’s cyclical model to ensure there is always space for contracting and review.
For coaches, I lean more into the CLEAR model to provide structure.
What is your theoretical approach?
I trained as a humanistic integrative counsellor, drawing on Person-centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt. Person-centred is my underpinning approach in all work but I integrate liberally and do a lot of CPD to inform me. I am happy to work with counsellors who are spiritual, relational and psychodynamic in their underpinning. In my own practice I regularly draw on models use Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, ACT, DBT and Trauma-Informed Counselling. If those are in your practice, I feel comfortable to supervise these, and possibly more – I am open for a chat.
Do you have any specialist knowledge that might be useful for supervisees?
Please see the full website for niches and specialities, but they include:
- Neurodiversity
- Special Education Needs
- Navigating interpersonal conflict
- Readiness for BACP accreditation
- Coaching, especially for Divorce and Separation and work-related stress.
- Supervision of non-counselling professionals who want that counselling angle. (i.e. a supervisor who is less focussed on the subject matter and offers more ‘space’ for the supervisee to explore emotional impact of their work and working-relationships).
- Setting up a private practice and running/growing a business
- Working in the NHS / making yourself attractive to employers
- Spirituality – I will understand the spiritual aspect of your work and help you stay grounded in the practical aspects too
